USDe briefly unpegged to $0.92, risk transmission theoretically will not repeat
Binance's USDe briefly unpegged to $0.92 today. Analyst Chen Mo pointed out that the last 1011 incident was also due to issues with USDe, but there were no anomalies in on-chain prices. USDe has a thin order book on centralized exchanges and is used as collateral for opening positions, and the risk transmission from 1011 started from here. Subsequently, Binance incorporated the actual redemption price of USDe into the price index, rather than relying solely on order book quotes, which theoretically will prevent a repeat of the 1011 incident.
