Bitget Resumes Withdrawals in Phases: Schedule in Vietnam Time and What to Check
Bitget is reopening withdrawals in phases, and the last of them starts at 02/10 15:00 Vietnam time, according to Bitget's notice “Bitget to Resume Withdrawals in Phases” of 26 September 2026, 03:55 UTC. The earlier dates are 15:00 on 28/9 for BTC on the Bitcoin network, 29/9 for ETH and 30/9 for USDT, with the 02/10 phase covering other tokens, fiat and P2P.
The phase schedule in Vietnam time
The table below reproduces the schedule in Bitget's notice “Bitget to Resume Withdrawals in Phases” of 26 September 2026, 03:55 UTC, converted to Vietnam time (UTC+7).
| Timing (Vietnam time) | Assets and networks |
|---|---|
| 28/9 15:00 | BTC (Bitcoin), Bitcoin network |
| 29/9 15:00 | ETH (Ethereum), Ethereum, BSC, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism |
| 30/9 15:00 | USDT (Ethereum, BSC, Solana, Tron) |
| 02/10 15:00 | Other tokens, fiat and P2P |
The notice says the same approach applies consistently across users without preference; P2P here means trades made directly between users. One detail worth knowing: the notice's table lists networks row by row and gives no separate time for each network; by the table, the whole row shares the 15:00 mark.
What does not change while you wait
According to Bitget's notice “Bitget to Resume Withdrawals in Phases” of 26 September 2026, the pause lets Bitget complete final security validation before safely restoring services and is not related to the availability of user assets: account balances are unaffected, trading and deposits keep running, the incident remains contained and no further unauthorized transfers are possible. The same notice says Bitget's User Protection Fund covers the financial impact of this platform-wide incident, and that users do not need to take any action ahead of the rollout because withdrawal availability will be reflected directly on the Bitget platform.
The notice also says CEO Gracy Chen will host a live AMA at 07:30 UTC on 28 September — 14:30 Vietnam time — to discuss the incident and the withdrawal restoration.
How the loss figure has moved
The first “[SECURITY NOTICE] Bitget exchange hot wallets Incident — September 24, 2026” of 24 September 2026, 21:39 UTC reported unauthorized transfers from some hot wallets detected at 18:31 UTC on 24 September, an estimated $351.6 million affected, cold wallets still fully secure, and withdrawals suspended as a precaution; it said the loss falls within the coverage of Bitget's User Protection Fund, which then held over $464 million.
A day later, the update “Bitget Security Latest Incident Update: Fund Tracing and Recovery Bounty Program” of 25 September 2026, 14:05 UTC put the figure at about $387.5 million transferred to attacker-controlled addresses, above the initial $351.6 million estimate; the increase covers Zcash and TRON assets absent from that first estimate, and the notice says the revision does not reflect further unauthorized transfers. Confirmed affected assets are XRP, ETH, USDT, ZEC, USDC, USDT0, XAUt, BNB, AVAX and TRX, across Ethereum and several EVM networks, the XRP network, Zcash and TRON, and the figures may be updated as more transactions are classified and traced.
On the same day, CoinDesk's report “Circle and Tether step in to freeze hacker wallet after massive Bitget crypto heist” of 25 September 2026 said Circle and Tether blacklisted an exploiter wallet holding about $318,000 in USDT and USDC — a small fraction of the total, since most of the funds taken sit in ETH, which issuers cannot freeze. On method, CoinDesk's report “Bitget's $352 million hack happened via spoofed transfers, not private keys, CEO Gracy Chen says” of 25 September 2026 quotes Gracy Chen saying attackers compromised a critical backend system within the wallet infrastructure, spoofed transaction data and triggered the exchange's authorization process, with private key compromise ruled out. The same update of 25 September 2026, 14:05 UTC also says some affected assets were successfully frozen through coordination with industry partners, that the Recovery Bounty Program pays 5% of successfully frozen funds and 5% of successfully recovered funds, and that the live tracking dashboard sits at trace.bgblockchain.xyz.

What the last phase means for readers in Vietnam
The 02/10 15:00 Vietnam time phase is the one that carries fiat and P2P, so VND withdrawals to an e-wallet or bank account likely sit in that phase (Bitget's notice does not name VND separately). Bitget's notice “Bitget VND Balance Is Now Live — Deposit Instantly, Swap in Seconds!” of 9 September 2026, 03:04 UTC says VND Balance has been live since 9/9/2026, with deposits by VietQR from an e-wallet or a mobile banking app, conversion into BTC, ETH, USDT, SOL, BGB and 10+ other assets, deposit fees stated as low as 0.3%, and the USDT/VND spot pair listed since 26/8/2026. A phase restart does not depend on the fiat channel you used — the timings Bitget published apply to everyone — and the guide “Introducing VND transfers on Bitget” of 22 November 2024 has VND withdrawals going straight to an e-wallet or a bank account.
Checks before you withdraw
If a message or a link tells you withdrawals are back, match the domain against Bitget's official channel verification page and against your own account on bitget.com directly. When you withdraw, pick the network the receiving address supports — BTC over the Bitcoin network, ETH over Ethereum, BSC, Arbitrum, Base or Optimism, USDT over Ethereum, BSC, Solana or Tron — because sending on the wrong network can lose the funds. Bitget's notice of 26 September 2026 says users should follow Bitget's official channels for updates rather than messages or links they did not expect.
