Ripple Announces New Updates for XRPL

Ripple provided information on tokenization and technical updates at the Korea Blockchain Week held in Seoul from September 29 to October 1, 2026. Ripple President Monica Long stated that the majority of the volume of tokenized assets will occur on public blockchains. Long mentioned that the advantages of private blockchains for XRP Ledger will be integrated, and work is being done on XLS 96 and XLS 75 for this purpose. The XRP Ledger is a public blockchain network developed for payments and tokenization. The Permission Delegation feature will be launched on the mainnet on October 8, 2026, and the Batch update will go live on October 9. These features aim to provide enterprise-level account management and trustless atomic transaction execution capabilities. Long will also speak at the XRP Seoul event scheduled for October 3, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt Seoul. Additionally, CSD BR in Brazil announced the first phase of its strategic partnership with Ripple. CSD BR plans to advance asset tokenization in the country with assets worth 22 trillion Brazilian reais. Ripple continues its efforts to bring tokenization to real financial infrastructures while enhancing technical capacity on XRPL.
