XRP Ledger to Stand Out with Seoul Event and Network Updates in October

The XRP ecosystem is preparing a busy schedule in October with an institutional participation event and network updates. The XRP Seoul event, scheduled for October 3, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt in Seoul as part of Korea Blockchain Week, will feature banks and financial institutions. Ripple President Monica Long and RippleX Senior Vice President Markus Infanger will discuss the future of digital finance. Financial institutions such as Kyobo Securities, Woori Bank, and Kakao Bank will also be among the participants. Network updates are on the agenda for the second week of October. The updates for Batch, fixBatchV1_2, and permissions delegation are planned to be implemented on the mainnet on October 8 and 9, 2026. To activate these changes, the support rate must remain above 80%. Additionally, another significant gathering of the Ripple ecosystem, the Swell event, will take place from October 27 to 29, 2026. October will be a month of important developments for the XRP ecosystem in terms of both corporate visibility and technical infrastructure.
