Pump.fun Launches Custom Pairs, Supporting Tokenized US Stocks and Crypto Asset Pairing
Pump.fun launched Custom Pairs on September 10, allowing token issuance to pair with tokenized US stocks, mainstream crypto assets, and metals. Currently, 93 quoted assets are available, including 20 new additions such as Boeing, Alibaba, Costco, and Dell. The fee structure for Custom Pairs is the same as that for regular token issuance, but 50% of the revenue from this segment will go into the programmatic buyback and burn contract for the PUMP token. Creators can choose pairing assets at the time of issuance and select between a Creator Fee (0.05%--1%) and Cashback, with fees distributed in the quoted asset. The Creator Fee can be split among up to 10 addresses, supporting CTO, but existing tokens cannot change their pairings. The official statement emphasizes that tokenized assets are issued by third parties, and the platform does not facilitate the buying or selling of stocks or securities.
