Non-US investors held $24.32 trillion in US stocks in July, marking the third-largest amount in history. Since the beginning of this year, foreign investment in US stocks has increased by $2.22 trillion, a growth rate of 10%. Since the bear market in 2022, the holdings have increased by $12.3 trillion, a growth rate of 103%. The proportion of foreign investment in US stocks has risen to 60% of their US financial assets, setting a record and exceeding the peak during the 2000 internet bubble by about 6 percentage points.
