ENS Labs Explores Linking ENS Domains with vLEI in Collaboration with GLEIF
Prefer us on GoogleENS Labs is exploring the association of ENS domains with verifiable Legal Entity Identifiers (vLEI) in collaboration with the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) to confirm the institutional identities behind on-chain domains. GLEIF is drafting a universal scheme to link external identifiers such as ENS domains with vLEI, and the next step will be to determine the specific implementation through an ENS Improvement Proposal (ENSIP). The issuance, governance, and verification of vLEI credentials will still be managed by GLEIF, and this scheme is currently under development.
