Coinbase Partners With Stablecore To Provide Crypto Services To 3000 Banks
Coinbase has partnered with Stablecore to integrate crypto services into existing banking technology, reaching over 3000 U.S. banks and credit unions. This collaboration allows banks to offer digital asset products, including crypto custody, trading, and stablecoin payment services, without needing to overhaul their technology stack. Stablecore provides white-label infrastructure that integrates with current banking systems, while Coinbase supplies the underlying digital asset infrastructure. The partnership is already in progress with institutions like Amarillo National Bank in Texas. However, the 3000+ figure indicates potential access to services rather than immediate adoption, as actual implementation will depend on individual banks' decisions to activate these capabilities. This shift aims to simplify crypto adoption by embedding digital asset functionalities into familiar banking interfaces.
