Blockchain Association Launches Vaults Working Group with Participation from Dozens of Institutions
The Blockchain Association in the United States has launched a Vaults working group, with dozens of member institutions participating in policy discussions in Washington. Vaults are emerging on-chain financial infrastructures that allow users to gain exposure to various assets and provide personalized strategies aimed at enhancing transparency and efficiency in on-chain financial markets. Through this working group, members will communicate with the U.S. SEC to support responsible product development and help legislators understand how Vaults operate and the applicability of existing regulatory frameworks. The goal is to ensure that the rules reflect the technology itself and promote responsible innovation in the United States. Participating institutions include a16z crypto, Aave, Casper Network, dYdX Foundation, Grayscale, Uniswap, among others.
