21Shares Announces Staking Distributions for Five Crypto ETFs
21Shares has announced September staking distributions for five crypto ETFs: TETH, TSOL, THYP, TSUI, and TDOT. The largest per-share distribution is 0.19136 for the Hyperliquid Staking ETF. The Ethereum Staking ETF will distribute 0.031602 per share, while the Solana Staking ETF will distribute 0.076590 per share. The Sui Staking ETF will pay 0.052939 per share, and the Polkadot Staking ETF will distribute 0.045029 per share. The ex-dividend and record date for all five products is September 29, with payments scheduled for September 30. These distributions are derived from staking rewards earned from the underlying assets held by the funds, rather than arbitrary dividends from the asset manager's balance sheet. The move reflects a shift in crypto ETFs, as they now incorporate staking rewards, providing investors with additional returns beyond mere price exposure. This evolution in fund structure introduces operational complexities but enhances the competitive edge of crypto funds.
